GetTheAmount is free to use, with no account required and no paywalled calculators. If a calculator saved you a trip back to the store, or a guide answered a question you'd have otherwise had to figure out the hard way, a small donation helps keep the site running, ad-light, and the underlying coverage and waste figures kept up to date as products change.

Donations start at $5 and are processed securely through Stripe. This is entirely optional — every calculator, guide, and project hub on GetTheAmount stays free and fully accessible whether or not you choose to contribute.

Where the money goes: hosting and infrastructure costs, the time spent sourcing and periodically re-checking coverage and yield figures against current manufacturer specs, and building out new calculators for materials and project types the site doesn't cover yet.
